- Tell us about your previous childcare experience.
- My experience with children I have gained very early as I often helped my mother at work when she was a preschool teacher. I liked to think up new games for them or tried to teach them the alphabet. About four years ago I was an au pair in Germany for two months. I was taking care of six year old Laura. She loved when I was reading fairy tales to her and she could sit and listen for long hours. Because of beautiful, summer weather we spent a lot of time on the play ground. On the rainy days we liked to organize fashion shows, where Laura was a model and I was the photographer.
- What three words would you use to describe yourself?
- I'm funny, intelligent and a good listener.
- Why do you want to be an Au Pair Care au pair?
- The au pair program is a great opportunity to get to know a wonderful country, meet new people and see how they live in an entirely different culture. Of course I also hope to improve my English, which will help me to finish university and write a Master’s thesis in this language. After ending my education I would like to find a job that combines traveling and contacting with various types of people. I hope to build a friendship with my future family and children I will look after. And I am impatiently looking forward to staying in U.S.A. for the next year.
